Getting Started

 So you have a book you want to publish. What next? That's the big question. Savory Words Publishing helps simplify the publishing process by providing step-by-step guidance every step of the way.

1. Decide what package you want.

Your manuscript doesn't have to be perfect; it only has to have a story. Decide what package you want, and what format(s) you want the book to be in. We offer an array of services, all designed to simplify the publishing process for you.  If you're not sure what package you want, we'll help you figure it out.

2. Submit the manuscript to us.

We'll look at your completed manuscript (please, no preliminary drafts; we only want final versions) and talk with you to determine what you want to do, what you're willing to do, and how much we can do for you.  The manuscript will also be reviewed by a team to make sure it fits our guidelines. If and when the manuscript has been accepted, and a contract has been signed, work will commence.

3. Publish the book.

The book will undergo editing (even if it's already been edited), formatting, and all the other nitty-gritty things involved with publishing a book. Know that this process isn't a quick, overnight deal; it takes time, energy, and more time. Once the final version is approved, the book will show up on Amazon and other sites.While this may seem like a simple process, it also involves a lot of patience, work, and planning. But at the end of it all, you'll have a book you're proud of.
